What's the site about?
amiworthit is a site by students, for students. It's designed to help people meet each other, including across universities. At the same time, it's a discreet way for people to find out what people think of their appearance.

But that sounds like a lot of sites! Why should I join this one too?
Unlike the other networking sites out there, amiworthit.com promotes the interaction of students between different universities. Most importantly, though, only people who are worth it can join!

Who decides who's worth it?
That's where the genius lies. When someone signs up to join, their picture and vital statistics are shown to the people who are currently members of the site. They are asked a simple but crucial question: is this person worth it? After three days, the votes are counted and the account is either accepted or closed.

What happens in that 3 day period?
During the three day evaluation period, users have full access to the services amiworthit.com provides. The only thing they can't do is approve or reject hopeful new members.

Will people of the same sex be deciding my fate?
Once a member has declared their sexual orientation, the profiles offered to them will be changed accordingly. So yes, sometimes ;).

What are these features then?
At the time of launch, features include:

• Approval system: only people voted as worth it may join.
• Rating: users can rate each other from 1 to 10, giving everyone their own overall rating.
• Messaging: users can send each other private messages.
• Contacts: keep tabs on those you like to message with a contact book.
• Fans: become a fan of someone, either as an open fan or a secret admirer. You can also see who is a fan of you.
• Invites: tell someone they're worth it! Once you're a member you can invite other people to join, either anonymously or openly. A great way to flirt.
